Mc Cullough Welding is committed to fair and transparent business practices. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms regarding payments, deposits, project cancellations, and refunds for our welding and metal fabrication services.

2. Quotes and Estimates

All quotes provided by Mc Cullough Welding are estimates based on the information available at the time. Final prices may vary based on:

  • Changes in material costs
  • Additional work required beyond initial scope
  • Unforeseen complications discovered during fabrication
  • Changes to project specifications requested by the client

Any significant price changes will be communicated and approved by the client before work continues.

3. Deposits and Payments

For welding and fabrication projects, the following payment terms generally apply:

  • Small Projects (Under $1,000): Payment in full is typically required upon completion before delivery or pickup.
  • Medium Projects ($1,000 - $5,000): A deposit of 50% is required to begin work, with the balance due upon completion.
  • Large Projects (Over $5,000): Payment schedules will be outlined in the individual service agreement and may include milestone payments.

We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. For credit card payments, normal processing fees apply.

4. Project Cancellations

If you need to cancel a project, the following terms apply:

  • Cancellation 7+ Days Before Start Date: Full refund of any deposit paid, minus a $50 administrative fee.
  • Cancellation 3-7 Days Before Start Date: Deposit is non-refundable, but no additional charges will be assessed.
  • Cancellation Less Than 3 Days Before Start Date: Deposit is non-refundable, and a cancellation fee of 25% of the estimated project value may be charged.
  • Cancellation After Work Has Begun: Payment for work completed to date is due, along with any material costs incurred.

5. Refund Policy

Due to the custom nature of welding and fabrication work, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis:

  • Completed Work: Once work has been completed and delivered, no refunds are available. If there are quality issues with our workmanship, we will correct the problem at no additional charge.
  • Materials: Custom-ordered or fabricated materials cannot be returned or refunded.
  • Standard Stock Items: Unused, unopened standard materials may be eligible for refund within 30 days of purchase, subject to a 15% restocking fee.
  • Service Fees: Diagnostic fees, consultation fees, and delivery fees are non-refundable.

6. Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind our workmanship. If you are not satisfied with the quality of our welding services due to issues with our craftsmanship, we will:

  • Inspect the work in question
  • Correct any welding defects at no additional charge
  • Provide alternative solutions if correction is not possible

This guarantee applies to workmanship issues only and does not cover damage caused by third parties, normal wear and tear, or damage resulting from improper use or maintenance.
